Tamariua Beach
It is located 1.5 km from the center of Port de la Selva, and is made up of stones and gravel. It stands out for its tranquility, in a wonderful space between its rock formations of Cap de Creus. In Cala Tamariua you can practice nudism. It can be easily accessed on foot (only half an hour from Port de la Selva) or by car (5 minutes), where you can park very close to the cove.
Playa d’en Taita
It is located 1 km from Port de la Selva, towards Lanza. It measures 8 m in length, and is made of large sand and stones. Nearby we find a garden area and pine vegetation that separate the beach from the road that goes to Llançà, the coastal path that goes to Llançà also passes. It can be easily reached on foot from Port de la Selva, as it is a very flat area and very well equipped along the Camino de Ronda. You can also leave your car in the sandy parking lot at the entrance to Port de la Selva or there is also a parking lot right above it..
Playa del Pas
It is a beach that is 50 m long, made up of gray galets (a small, round stone caused by sea erosion). In 2007 it was considered the best beach in Catalonia. And in 1997 it obtained the blue flag from the European community. Be careful with bar services, showers and it is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
It has a parking area right next door.
Cala Fornells
It is a small 15 meter cove mainly made up of galets and stone. The cove is surrounded by rocks, in the middle of a wild and natural environment where you will disconnect from everything.
The cove is located 3.7 km from Port de la Selva, where it will take 50 minutes on foot. To get there from Port de la Selva you must first pass through Tamariua cove. During part of the way we will find quite a few stones and it is advisable to wear appropriate walking shoes.
The large beach of Port de la Selva
It is the largest beach in the urban center and measures about 230 meters long and 25 meters wide. It goes from the crossing that leads to Selva del Mar to the Moll d'en Balleu port. Its sand is made up of sand and large sand and it has all the services. In front of the beach you can find all kinds of shops, restaurants, cafes, shops... The beach also has access for people with reduced mobility.
